Aerobics - Boot Camp

Aerobics This course involves high energy aerobics guaranteed to get your body active, your heart rate up, and your muscles toned. The exercise is geared for intermediate to advanced students and is to be followed at your own pace.

 
Cardio Workout

This excellent overall body workout is an action-packed aerobics course choreographed to the rhythm of dance music. The class consists of 40 minutes of aerobics and twenty minutes of strength training and stretching.

 
Shiatsu Massage

Learn the basic techniques of this Japanese massage. Performed on the floor, tensions are released via the thumbs, fists, elbows as well as feet. Not only does this massage technique increase the energy level but it also provides deep relaxation. Both singles and partners are welcome.

 
Aerobics with Daycare

Not enough exercise because you're too busy?  We have a solution for you!  ARMP is offering aerobics classes to new mothers with children ages 0-5.  Experienced babysitters will watch your children while you watch your figure! 

ARMP is offering this course free to parents who are financially disadvantaged and new immigrants.  Parents who have the financial means are also encouraged to register for these courses at regular price.

 

 
Power Yoga

Power Yoga is a faster flow yoga practice based on the basic postures and movements of Hatha Yoga. The quicker pace refreshes the body with oxygen more rapidly and the continuous movement helps to relieve tension. This course is open to people of all ages. No previous yoga experience is recommended although previous yoga hatha experience is preferred.

 
Stretch and Tone

Develop your muscles and trim the fat with Stretch and Tone. This course involves 10 minutes of warm-up and 50 minutes of toning with hand weights and stretching. Build strength in the connective tissue and rejuvenate the muscles you thought you never had!

 
Tai Chi

Tai Chi Tai Chi is an energy-producing Chinese moving meditation technique which conditions the body and focuses the mind. Tai Chi combines mental concentration with slow flowing movements to increase the flow of energy throughout the body. Its simplicity makes it ease to learn and is beneficial for people of all ages.

 
Yoga (Hatha)

Understand the art of living from a practice based on a timeless Indian philosophy. Perfected over thousands of years, hatha yoga will revitalize your body and harmonize your mind, body, and spirit. Yoga exercises include gentle stretching, breathing techniques, and balancing postures. Regular practice of Hatha yoga leads to optimal physical fitness, improved concentration, reduced stress, and, best of all, peace of mind.

Yoga Pilates is an excellent workout aimed at strengthening your core muscles and improving flexibility.
